Sistine

Named after the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City, this sofa set will delight (almost) as much. The design is reminiscent of the styles from the 1930’s - 1950’s, with a low, angular back and angular sides, yet it is updated for the present day. 
 
Pictured here for The London Furniture Company as a two seater sofa in black, grey and brown Italian leather. This design creates a feature from the sofa’s feet rather than hiding them at the bottom of the piece, again showing off its angular features from typical early 20th century styles. Detail of the stitching is shown on the tan sofa, a light brown has been used for the thread colour which creates a lovely contrast of colours.
 
The actual composition of the sofa is second to none, it will delight those looking for a ‘sinking-in’ feeling as a memory foam layer has been added to the seats, whilst still offering support in the seats so you won’t sink in too far.
